Is There Such a Thing as ‘Ethical Cheating’?
Brandon Wade is an entrepreneur of sorts and recently launched a website called www.openminded.com. It is a website that enables married people to cheat on their spouses. It's similar to the popular "online dating" site www.ashleymadison.com where users identity are hidden, but Wade's website is more "open." Wade encourages his users to openly discuss this extracurricular dating with their spouses before logging on to his site. According to the article on the NY Times website, there is even an article on the openminded.com website that is titled "How to cheat on your wife." The article says to "expect a bit of defensiveness." Really...Why would you even get married if you're still looking to date others? Wade (who is on his third wife) says that in his experiences, monogamy hasn't worked for him.
I don't understand how a person could possibly have a wife and a family and still feel the need to find love elsewhere. The marriage cannot be healthy. I don't care if your spouse knows or not, it's unethical for a married couple to behave in this kind of "free for all relationship."
